Four miles, 514 yards, 30 fences, 40 jockeys and horses, but only one winner! Experience the thrill of one of the most famous horse races in the world – the Grand National is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool.
We offer two types of ticket, Festival Zone and Embankment, so you can choose the experience that's right for you:
Festival Zone offers access to watch the world-class racing and enjoy fantastic live music and entertainment. There's plenty of food and drink outlets, and the opportunity to see the horses around the Aintree Parade Ring. You can also enjoy viewing access of the Parade Ring and Winners' Enclose.
The Embankment offers prime viewing of the first fences of the Grand National course. This also includes bars and catering facilities, big-screen viewing, live entertainment, betting facilities, and unreserved seating. It’s perfect for a more relaxed Grand National experience with a casual dress code – although you can still dress to impress if you like!
This exciting event is known for its challenging course, with horses and jockeys taking on tough fences and long distances, making it a true test of skill and endurance. The atmosphere at the Grand National is electric, with crowds gathering to cheer on their favourites and enjoy the thrill of the race. Going to the Grand National offers a wonderful day out, where you can experience the excitement of live horse racing and be part of a historic sporting event.
It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the lively atmosphere, see world-class horses and jockeys in action, and take in the tradition and excitement that make the Grand National a truly special event in the British sporting calendar.
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we depart and enjoy our journey home with a stop en-route at a place of interest.
Please note, that due to the short duration of the tour, a smaller piece of luggage per passenger should be taken as you will be required to carry your own luggage to and from the hotel reception. Your driver will be responsible for moving your luggage to the hotel reception on arrival and from the hotel reception on departure.

You will stay for two nights at either Holiday Inn Preston, Best Western Plus Pinewood Manchester Airport - Wilmslow or Holiday Inn Bolton, all ideally located within easy coaching distance of Aintree.
Please note: event dates are subject to change. We reserve the right to amend the date or operate the holiday without the event if the event cancels beyond our control. Most events require a certain degree of mobility as there will be walking from the coach park and around the event itself. Most events are open-air. To make your break as enjoyable as possible, we advise you wear weather-appropriate clothes and footwear suitable for being outdoors all day.
